What this is

Uptime Gladiator checks whether your websites are up and turns the results into a game: a pixel gladiator that earns armor for uptime, loses it for downtime, and fights a weekly duel. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The numbers are measurements taken from our checkers, once a minute from three regions. We work to make them accurate, but they are our observations, not a certified record — do not use them as evidence of anyone's SLA. The duels, laurels, scars, tiers and titles are a game built on those measurements, nothing more.

Your account

You need an account to enter the arena, and a paid subscription for your gladiator to fight. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens on your account is yours. Handles are first come, first served, except names we reserve — including well-known brands. Taking over a company profile we already list requires proving control of that company's domain.

Acceptable use

Monitor sites you are allowed to check. Do not use us to overload anyone, probe systems you have no business probing, impersonate a person or company, or interfere with the service or the game. We can suspend or close accounts that do, and remove any monitor.

Payments

All purchases — the subscription, sponsor rail slots and match sponsorships — are processed by Polar Software Inc. as merchant of record. Polar handles the checkout, your card and invoicing; we never see your card number. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and cancelling stops the next charge. Refunds are described in our refund policy.

Sponsorships

Sponsor placements show the name, colours, link and text the sponsor provides. We may decline or remove a sponsorship that is unlawful, deceptive or does not fit the site, refunding any unused time. Sponsors get placement, not influence: sponsorship never affects measurements, matchmaking or results, and matchups between companies that never joined are never for sale.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free — an uptime monitor can itself go down. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending and changing

You can delete your account whenever you like. We can change these terms; if a change matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. These terms are governed by Croatian law, and disputes belong to the courts of Zagreb, without limiting mandatory consumer protections of your home country.
