Cookie Policy

The short version

We set only what keeps you signed in. Our analytics (OpenPanel) are cookieless — they store nothing on your device — so they are not a cookie choice at all. Advertising cookies exist as a choice in the consent banner and are off until you turn them on; right now nothing is behind them.

What is actually set

Authentication (essential): Clerk, our sign-in provider, sets session cookies so the site knows you are you. They exist only to keep your session working and expire with it.

Analytics (cookieless): OpenPanel measures visits without cookies, local storage or any identifier saved on your device, for every visitor. Blocking it changes nothing about how the site works.

Browser storage (convenience): we use your browser's own storage for small local flags — for example, remembering that you have already seen a matchup's sponsor notice so it is not shown to you twice. This never leaves your browser.

Payments: when you check out, you are on Polar's checkout, and Polar sets what it needs to process the payment as merchant of record. Their policy applies there.

Controlling them

The consent banner records your choices and you can change them there. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking the essential ones means sign-in stops working; everything public — the arena, profiles, fight cards — works without any cookies at all.
